Foundation Application: The Real Problem

Big screen movie stars like Cameron Diaz and Amanda Peet know that when it comes to perfect looking skin we all need a little bit of help.

Break-outs are a common problem for many women. The best we can do is use cleansers, toners and creams along with the right make-up to ensure our imperfections are well hidden. That’s why foundation application is such a headache for many of us.

If you’re one of those women who struggles with the right foundation applicator, there are solutions to your problem. Ask expert make-up artists - to get that clear, seamless finish to the skin we need the kind of make-up applicator that contours to the face instead of caking foundation on top of it.

The make-up department is full of different foundations. Some are tinted moisturizers, others are mousse or whipped foundations, liquids, cream-to-powder, concealers, minerals and many others that work to conceal imperfections like dark spots, circles and acne. The trick, however, is to find the right applicator. You may use any of the above named foundations, but unless you are using the right applicator, you are bound to get that cakey, unnatural look to the face.

Whether you have oily skin and need to suck up that oil or have dry skin and need to avoid the blotchy look, you have to ensure that along with your foundation you are using the right applicator. The problem with our make-up routine is not necessarily the type of foundation that we use but instead it is the applicator that we use when we apply it. If you use brushes, you may notice that you are prone to leaving streaks on your face – especially when you are applying a liquid or cream foundation. The problem with brushes is that they don’t set foundation into the skin and instead make foundation go on top of the skin. If you take a napkin and press it against your face after applying foundation with a brush, you will notice that there’s a lot of that foundation left behind. Similarly, if you use concealer sticks and use your hands when you apply it, you will notice that it also stains your hands, especially when you touch your face with your hands.

That’s the issue with many other types of foundation applicators like sponges. The end result is that the make-up never sets into the skin, it just sits on top.

If women knew that the problem is the foundation applicator itself, perhaps there wouldn’t be such a big issue with foundation application.

How to Use IPKN Artist Wave for Perfect Coverage

The thing about make-up is that while one product works well for one person, it could have a completely different affect on someone else’s skin. That’s why advertisements can be misleading. If you have a favorite product or brand that you use, stick with it. Don’t start experimenting with different brands when you already know what works for your skin.
This is especially so for foundation. Foundation is one of the most important make-up products that we use. Without it, we feel naked and exposed. Without foundation, we can say goodbye to a picture-perfect look.
In this article, I want to talk about your make-up application routine and how it changes with IPKN Artist Wave.
Step 1. Apply moisturizer to the skin.
No matter whether your skin is oily or dry, you have to moisturize before applying your foundation. If you have dry skin, the foundation will end up leaving patches. If your skin is too oily, you still have to moisturize especially around the eyes.
Step 2. Use a primer (make-up base) before putting on foundation.
Professional primer gives a better base to the skin. It smoothes out and minimizes imperfections and leaves an open palate for foundation application. This way, it’s easier for you to apply foundation to the face and make it last longer. Simply dab your primer to the IPKN puff and start contouring to the face.
Step 3. Use IPKN Artist Wave as a corrector or concealer.
If you have under eye dark circles simply dab the vibrating puff onto your corrector or concealer. In order to cover spots, blemishes or freckles, dab the puff into the concealer stick and keep patting until you get a good amount.
4. Why IPKN can be used as a hand, a brush or a sponge.
If you select different tools according to the texture of your foundation you probably use your hands as well as brushes and sponges to get that seamless effect. The thing about all these tools is that they still leave behind a cakey look. Whatever type of foundation you use, either creamy or thick, you can use IPKN. When you apply the foundation with IPKN Artist Wave, you will notice that all your pores get minimized and your skin starts looking much clearer. IPKN leaves a proper amount of foundation on the face and also leaves a semi-matte finish.
5. Using IPKN as a loose powder.
Along with your make-up routine, when you use loose powder to finish off the application process, you can also replace the loose powder with IPKN Artist Wave for the prevention of skin becoming too oily or too shiny.
Have you found any changes to your skin with IPKN?

IPKN Artist Wave Customer Review

I first started experiencing breakouts on my skin when I was around 16 years old. Quickly this grew into one of the most unpleasant aspects of my life.

I became very insecure about my skin. The breakouts were most prominently on my cheeks and forehead. To remedy the situation, I grew my hair long and cut my bangs short to cover up my skin.
I went through many regiments to combat my problem. I tried everything from creams, to medicinal products, to countless trips to skin professionals; and although my problem got better, I started to notice that while the acne was going away, I was left with scars instead.

My skin got better but the acne scars remained. I didn’t know what to do except cover up my face with foundation. I was looking for the perfect foundation day in and day out and searching for the perfect application method, too. I tried powder brushes, I tried pads, I tried mousses. The only thing I was left with was a cakey look on my face and visible streaks. No matter what color I applied to my skin, it was visible that I was using something to cover it up. The worst part of it all was that now I had to hide my acne scars.

After a non-stop search for the perfect remedy, my mom’s friend recommended a product that was still not in Canada or the U.S., - only in Korea, called IPKN. She told me about the skin applicator and said that it might be worth a try. She heard that it was an application method used to combat cakey-looking skin. I had to give it a try. If nothing worked thus far, something entirely different might.

I order IPKN online and received the package in the mail 2 weeks later. Inside the package was the auto applicator along with 6 replacement puffs and 2 LR44 batteries. I dabbed the auto puff in my foundation, shifted the switch on, put it to my skin and began to contour the pad round my cheeks and forehead.
It was unbelievable. Immediately I noticed the difference. Instead of masking my face the vibrating puff was applying the foundation into my skin.

IPKN applied the foundation more evenly than anything else I’ve ever tried. When I was using a brush, it would leave streaks on my face. Instead of applying brush strokes to the face, IPKN’s vibrating pulse massages the foundation into the skin.

If you’ve ever been in my shoes, I recommend that you at least try this product. You don’t have anything to lose. This has been the answer to my skin problem. It might also be yours.

Yours truly,
Josey Marken

How to apply foundation with IPKN Artist Wave

Looking for perfect skin? Aren’t we all…
You don’t have to be born with perfect skin to look like you have a creamy, dreamy complexion. With IPKN New York’s Artist Wave Auto Make-Up you can create a flawless, natural looking finish.
Ask any woman what her biggest skin issue is and she’ll likely say it’s an uneven skin tone. The best way to manage an uneven skin tone is to fake it with foundation. But not just any foundation – a foundation that’s light when it’s applied!

With the right foundation applicator, you can create a nice and smooth finish to even out the skin’s texture. IPKN New York’s vibrating foundation applicator acts as a concealer stick, liquid foundation and loose powder all in one. Now you can say good-bye to your powder and foundation brush for good.

Reasons for skin imperfections
There are many reasons why we have imperfect skin. We may have blemishes and dark spots caused by acne, hyperpigmentation from sun, blotchy skin from rosacea or dark under-eye circles from lack of sleep or genetics. This is why we need to create a perfect canvass with the right foundation applicator.

How does IPKN New York work?
Start by applying a make-up base that is adjusted to your skin type to the puff. Shift the switch to turn on. Make sure enough base is on the puff and gently massage over your cheeks and forehead. Then comes the smoothing. Make sure you are applying the foundation according to your skin pigment and your skin type. Apply the foundation all over your face and then start highlighting your features by contouring the puff around curvy areas such as the T-zone. If you need to conceal around your eyes you can do so.  Contouring is very important especially in the cold season when your tan doesn’t last as long as it used to and you need to restore the volume of your features. When applying the foundation as a cream using IPKN, all your features flatten out, therefore, your face needs to be well contoured for a more natural effect. The contouring can be done through different shades of foundation as long as they are applied to the puff in the right volume.

Setting your make-up
Setting the make-up can also be done using IPKN. Instead of using a loose powder around the eyes or on the face you can use a lighter shade than the foundation cream using another puff in your kit. This will also help to not stain your face as each puff can be used for different foundation colors.
Happy application!

IPKN Artist Wave Review

One of the biggest mistakes we’re probably guilty of is not properly blending our foundation. Luckily we’ve found a product that effortlessly applies make-up and blends for an expert looking, flawless finish.
Liquid foundation is really great at covering imperfections or discoloration but if it’s not blended well it often looks cakey or blotchy. When you apply foundation directly to the skin and blend it in with a foundation it not only takes forever to blend but it also settles into fine lines and looks a little fake.

That’s why we love this new handy gadget: IPKN Artist Wave - the exclusive vibrating auto puff. Now wherever you are, whenever you are, you can have perfect make-up. When you use the IPKN’s vibrating puff you simply apply it into the skin without leaving a huge mess. It does all the work for you and gives your skin an even tone working as a concealer, a foundation and powder all in one cutting out major steps in your make-up routine.

Yes, it’s true, shopping channels have already got their hands on the concept, but IPKN New York has blown the competition wide open. We’re talking about a vibrating foundation to the face that leaves that cakey look behind for good. This revolutionary make-up application process comes in the form of a vibrating auto puff and is used for the kind of application experienced only by professional make-up artists - so say goodbye to your old routine and hello to the easiest make-up routine yet.

The advanced foundation application system comes with a facial vibrating applicator, 6 replacement puffs and 2 LR44 batteries. At 12,000 fine vibrations per minute it has an 8 in 1 function (Primer, Sunblock, Base, Foundation, Powder, BB Cream, Packed, Make-up Fixer). The vibrating puff provides even coverage without any visible streaks to the face.

The benefits of the vibrating auto puff is that it’s an easy and handy make-up without the use of hands, while it’s delicate and secure pattern is an excellent adhesion with light and long-wearing coverage.

The vibrating applicator doesn’t require any assembly. All you have to do is dab the compact foundation with the applicator a couple of times and turn on the switch located below the puff. The level of vibration is similar to that of a mobile phone. It’s small enough to carry around, and is easy to apply to curvy areas such as the T-zone.

With the many options that are available, consumers are wondering if vibrating foundation is really worth the hype. To set the record straight IPKN’s exclusive auto puff contours to the face like no other.
